
Devansh Mathur graduated from Srishti School of Design, Bangalore specialising in cinema. He further studied direction and cinematography from the Prague Film School in 2016.

He made his first film when he was 9 along with his brother called "Birds Through my Window", which won the Golden Tree Award at the Vatavaran Film Festival, 2003. In 2008, he was selected to go to New York to attend a Global Peace Summit called Three Dot Dash.

In 2016, his film Gotya was also the only Indian film to be screened at the "Filmed by Bike Festival" in Ohio. This film is now streaming worldwide on Hotstar Disney+.

His film, 'Alternism’ (2020) follows the story of a postgraduate science student who chose to live amongst a remote tribal community in Central India. This film has been screened in over ten festivals worldwide, notably being “Dharamshala Film Festival (India), Royal Stag Barrel Select Films (India), Flickfair (LA), Lift of Sessions (UK), Short Cut (Serbia), SpudFILM (UK)”

His debut feature project, Marham Rao was part of the Journey to Europe: Scriptwriting Development Lab organized by the European Union Film Festival in association with the Dharamshala International Film Festival and Cineuropa.

He is currently developing three Indian web series for OTT platforms.
